Political views too passionate ?

The day before the big Rally to Restore Sanity there was a rally for congressional candidates Dan Webstar and Alan Grayson. In this peticular rally things got out of hand. A 23 year old volunteer from Florida named Lauren Valle was pushed to the ground and assulted by Rand Paul. He kicked her in the head as she layed on the ground helpless. In a different rally for Webstar a man stood in the backround holding a Grayson sign when he was assaulted by a man who supported Webstar. He would have kept fighting until a women stepped between them and broke it up and told the man that he had every right to be there, which is totally true. This looked pretty funny because Webstar was telling the people to not fight and we need to work torwards peace, and yet you have a man right behind him starting a fight.

My opinion is that this man can do what ever he wants to do. Its call freedom of speech people. And on top of it he had to rip a sign out of his hands that that man bought with his own money, crumpled it up. That is destruction of property. I thought this was pretty funny because the whole speech was about peace and not fighting and yet people are fighting during the speech. This man took so many of the other mans rights away which is not right. Something should have been done to this man to make a point out of it. Granted the news is putting it out there, but the cops didnt get called or anything.

ISSUE #1 -War Dollars.

This artical is basically explains both the power of the purse side of funding the wars and the commander and cheif and his role as the president and commander of all our military branches. One argument is that yes, the president is the commander and chief of the military, however, congress holds the power of the purse. In other words they have a say in what wars will be funded and for how long. So they also can influence war policies simply by what they will fund and what they won't fund. An example of this was the vietnam war. Congress chose to over rule President Regan. Others agrue that the american people elected the president and one of his roles is commander and chief of the military. So they are saying that we should let him make the decisions on war funding and policies and not have congress involved. power of the purse/commander and chief

My belief in this is that we should have the power of the purse when it comes to making war decisions because we can't have another Hitler. The President would get currupted with power and start to make wrong decisions that people might not even want. The consitution was made up for "We the People for the People" and congress stresses that because they work for us and not one guy. They want what we are going to want. Issue #1 war dollars also believes in the power of the purse.

Taliban Attack NATO Supply Trucks in Pakistan

Many talibans have started to target our supply trucks that carry goods; such as clothing, food, water, fuel. 20 trucks were shot up during one night. One of them being a fuel tank. Four died and 7 were injured. People started to ask were is all the protection that we should have for the truckers. They said normally these trucks don't drive in that big of groups. Mostly groups of 3 to 5. Giving them more protection but the danger is always still going to be out there. The road is now reopened. While hundreds more trucks are crossing the boarder to give them supplies.

In my opinion this was pretty good luck for the taliban. Normally we are armed pretty good and have a lot of protection. Granted they should have been traveling in smaller groups, the job still has to get done. The road is now reopened to trucking. While hundreds of trucks are still bringing goods to them. I think we should keep doing what we are doing and just watch out for accidents like these.
