The New Electronic Cigarette

This invention is a totaly good economic use for the nature and the person. It is a good alternative to smoking because this doesnt have all the tar and bad chemicals in it. It is also 2nd hand smoke free because the smoke that does show is water vaper. It still gives you the nicotene that you always want. It is 60% times cheaper than regular cigs. No yellow fingers or walls or even teeth. Plus your clothes dont smell like smoke so you can do it before an important date.

This seems like a great invention. I am all for this because if it doesnt do all the things that regular cigs do it should be good. My only question that i can not find is does it still give you lung cancer.

Pailin Video Prompts Backlash over Blood Libel

Shortly after the Tucson, Arizona masacre where 6 people were killed, Congresswoman Gifford was shot in the head and numerous others critically injured, Sara Pahil made a video on her facebook. In her video she defended the 2nd amendment; giving people the right to bear arms but she used the words "Blood Libel" in her video. This video immediately started a debate over the use of her language and the specific words, "blood libel". According to MNSBC.COM, there were over 396,000 comments on her video and over 59% of the people commenting found her use of the phrase "blood libel" offensive and not appropriate. This video started a political debate which was once again, very critical. Pahlin supporters are saying that she has a right to say these things and are supporting her.

My opinion is that I don't believe she meant this to be offensive to anyone. Pahlin has always been supportive of the 2nd amendment and is once again, not talking gun rehtoric. She has a right to make a comment on this just like they are on her. Our first amendement gives us this right but i would hope it would be sincere because of this tragic event.

Two headed calve alive

A cow in Georgia has given birth to a two-headed calf.
Farmer Irakli Dzhgarkava, shown with the calf on Imedi television, says the cow is refusing to allow her strange offspring to suckle, so they are giving it milk from a bottle.
He says the calf eats with both heads.
Friday's television report says people have been coming to the village of Martvili to see the grayish-brown calf since it was born Jan. 2.
The village is located in western Georgia , about 280 kilometers (170 miles) from the capital, Tbilisi.
I find this amazing because most calves born like this would aborded at an early age. Even now it was born I would have figured it to be a hard birth and would have died then. With all this it is a small miricale. I predict that this calve will not live very long.

First Lady Takes "Private" Trip to Spain

Michelle Obama arrived in Marbella, Spain earlier this week for a private trip with 9-year-old daughter Sacha and longtime family friends. The trip has put  the first lady under scrutiny by many who feel that it is unfair for Mrs. Obama to vacation while the rest of the country struggles financially.

Even though this was a short article it has a lot of meaning to it. I think it is totally wrong for the Presidents wife to go to spain on our tax money. How much did it cost to fly them, how much to have the guards there, how much for the hotel, how much for food, how much for their friends to come along. They should have to pay for this themselves. I dont see them giving me money to go take a trip to go hunting in Alaska. Our country is so far in debt and this is not helping any. There is an over 10% unemployment rate. Give the homeless a night in a hotel. Stop thinking about yourself and think about your country.

Innocent man jailed

Cornelius Dupree Jr. was released from a Texas prison today after spending more than 30 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. In 1979 he was arrested and jailed for the crime of rape and robbery of a 26 year old women at gun point. During his jail stay in Texas he appealed this conviction 3 times with no success in this. An attorney from the Innocence Project took on his case. This attorney found out there was a DNA sample of this case that was never tested. She had this tested and it was found out that he was not the person who commited the crime. A Dallas Judge overturned his conviction right after. The Dallas Dist. Attorney stated in a news release that they have overturned 41 convicted crimes since 2001, when they started testing DNA samples taken as evidence in these crimes. Nina Morisan from the Projects stated that she will be working on reviewing several other cases where DNA testing was not avaliable at the time.

It is too bad that he wasted 30 years of his life in jail. Although they are going to give him 2 million dollars as a settle ment I would rather live free. It is a good thing that they are checking the older cases by pulling the DNA evidence and testing it. It makes you wonder how many people are innocent that are still in prison. What happened to Due Process and letting 99 gulity men go free than putting 1 innocent man in jail.
